Blaine Festival

This past weekend we spent pretty much every free moment we had at the Blaine Festival.  We go annually because the kiddos enjoy playing the games, visiting the booths, watching the magic show and attending the petting zoo.  This year was a little different because we went for all three days and Dad (Nate) didn't walk with us because he had his own Edward Jones' booth.  I think he had the most popular booth especially on Saturday since he was handing out free freezy-pops with temps in the high 90's.  I was a very proud wife this weekend watching him do his thing and meeting people.  Overall, it was a crazy fun weekend with a successful business bonus.

Central Park

I have made it a mission this summer to try lots of new parks and create lots of new memories with the kiddos.  So when temps were in the low 80's today with a breeze it was definitely going to be a park day.  We headed west to Maple Grove to try their "Central Park".  The pictures online didn't do justice, the kids had a blast!  There was tons of fun climbing activities, slides, sand play, and my favorite, a park with no swings.  The kids loved it and I know we will be back this summer for sure.

Edward Jones' Summer Regional

This past weekend we attended Dad's (Nate's) first annual "Edward Jones Summer Regional".  Location was at Grandview Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota.  The four days did consist of Dad (Nate) having to attend morning meetings as well as both of us attending an introduction meeting Thursday and the reward ceremony on Saturday night, but besides that the weekend was packed full of family time.  We spent much of our time eating yummy food, playing at the park, being on the beach, and swimming in the indoor pool with a water-slide.  Our cabin was also a little home away from home that we spent much of Friday in due to a few rain showers.  Overall, the weekend was lots of fun and very enjoyable.  

Most importantly, I want to highlight that Dad (Nate) received the prestigious award that a financial adviser can only achieve in their first year, "The Ted Jones Prospecting Award".  So proud of him; it proves that all his hard work is not only evident to me, his clients, but the entire Edward Jones Corporation.  Way to go, Love!
