Top 10 of 2019

Once again, another year has come and gone, and it's bittersweet.  Below (in no particular order) are our 10 favorite things that took place in 2019.

1. Visiting with family and friends that live throughout the United States
2. Watching Elyse getting baptized
3. Celebrating 14 years of marriage
4. Kiddos all attending Legacy as full-time students and genuinely love going to school 
5. Family vacations to Disneyland, Wisconsin Dells, Utah, Alabama, New Orleans, and Georgia 
6. Watching kiddos thrive in some hobbies, Elyse in drama, Caleb in baseball, and Kallen in basketball
7. Attending "For King and Country" concert together as a family
8. The first family camping experience
9. Surviving being stuck inside for days and having no heat one full day in MN's record Polar Vortex of -50 degrees
10. Welcoming Madeline into our family for the last six months

Happy New Year, hopefully a year full of a lot of fun memories and blessings, here's to 2020!

Science Museum Fun

Thanks to a rainy day with no plans, we decided to head to St. Paul and have fun at the Science Museum.  Some exhibits were in transitions, so weren't very interesting for the kids but were for dad and me; for instance, the human body exhibit.  The kids always love the bottom floor, where they got to explore how things work, do the sports exhibit, and see the dinosaurs.  

Nickelodeon Universe and MOA Fun

Today we surprised the kids with a fun day at Nickelodeon Universe and shopping at Mall of America.  The kids were thrilled and had such a great day!  We spent over seven hours, the majority of that time was riding rides, but worth it as the day involved no fights with lots of smiles and laughter!

Christmas Day

Yesterday we celebrated Christmas with our annual routine.  Kids woke up bright and early wearing their matching pajamas.  This year they chose, Star Wars, ironically have only seen one or two movies, but love it.  We opened stockings, ate breakfast, waited till the Disney parade started, and slowly opened the rest.  We then had a nice family lunch and spent the rest of our day playing games, building Legos, playing with all the new toys, and just loving our time together while praising our Lord for his birthday.   Love this day and the memories that come with it!

Today we met up with Caleb's birthmom, Mariah, and her family. We met in St. Cloud at the Chuck E. Cheese so the kids could play and we could spend some time catching up.  Overall, we all had a wonderful afternoon.
