Visit to Grandpa and Grandma K
So Elyse took her longest road trip so far last week, 6 hours plus a few obvious stops. As you can see from the picture she was awake, excited and ready to go. In fact, she did great the entire ride.
After a few hours of adjusting to a new place, Elyse was like her old self. Smiling, cooing and enjoying spending time with Grandpa and Grandma Klauser. She also got a few awesome presents. She was way more excited about the toys than the clothes, I know in a few years that will eventually change :) On Sunday, Elyse also met all her dad's aunts, uncles, cousins and their children from her grandpa's side. There were about 40 people, and sometimes I don't think Elyse knew just what to do. But it was great seeing everyone.
She even enjoyed spending time on her daddy's old rocking horse. She loved it!
Well, after a great weekend, Elyse was all tired out. So as we left Grandpa and Grandma's, Elyse decided to cuddle up with her snowman she got from them and fall asleep.

Judge's Verdict
The judge officially authorized Nate and I to be parents to Elyse Irene forever. We knew from birth that she was ours, but now we have government documents to prove it. It's a very exciting day in the Klauser home. The judge was awesome and loved holding and talking with Elyse. I think Nate had the most fun; because the judge told him that since he is the dad to the adorable baby, he could sit in the judge's chair. It was a very quick experience but we will never forget it!

So Excited
Elyse has found a new sound, a high pitch squeal. We believe it's the sound she's making to let us know she is getting so close to laughing. She makes it when she's really excited or playful. We were able to catch it on video, hope you enjoy!

Wonderful Monday
I'm not a fan of Mondays, but yesterday had to be one of my favorite Mondays every! Elyse and I spent the day celebrating how big she's gotten, as well as making a shirt, baking a cake and dinner for Nate. Then when Nate got home we were able to celebrate his big day. It was a relaxing and very enjoyable evening. Overall, I think his birthday was a big success!
What Elyse is thinking: Wow dad, you turned 29, that's old :)

Happy Birthday to My Two Loves
So I am so excited for today! The reason is because my two loves or favorite people in the world are both celebrating their birthdays! Nate is turning 29 today and I can't get over it. I love him so much and every year I just keep falling in love with him more. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and father to Elyse. Which brings me to my other favorite person, Elyse. See, Elyse turns 3 months today. She is becoming such a beautiful, smart and active little girl. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATE AND ELYSE!!! I love you!

We're Going to Court
Yep, that's right, Nate, Elyse and I are sentenced to court. It's not a bad thing, actually it's awesome! We got an adoption court date set and we couldn't be more thrilled. Elyse will forever be ours and get her own birth certificate and social security number. The date is set for December 16th at 9 A.M. Please pray that everything goes smoothly and successfully.

Uncle Steven and Aunt Kim
So Elyse had the opportunity to hang out with my side of the family this past weekend. She meet her Uncle Steven and Aunt Kim who are from Michigan for the first time. They stayed from Wed-Sun. Plus even Grams slept over to spend more time with everyone. It had to be one of our greatest weekends! We had a blast and Elyse just loved spending time with them. She was talking and smiling so much. Below are just a few and I say few because Kim took over 250 pictures of all of us or them with Elyse. We just hope to see them again real soon. We love you guys.
Elyse really loves her Uncle Steven if you can't tell. By the end of the weekend she was not only acting like him, but dressing too.
