Circus Fun

This past Saturday, a traveling circus made a stop in our county.  When we found out about the times, ticket prices and location, we knew we wanted to take the kiddos; and so glad it worked out, because they loved it!  Minus the heat and uncomfortable bench seating for two hours, the circus was completely worth it.  There was juggling, magic, elephants, dogs, horses, acrobatics, and motorcycles in a big cylinder of death.

Vacation Bible School

As previously stated, this past week Elyse, Caleb and Kallen participated in the boys' preschool's VBS (vacation bible school).  The theme was Everest; and the smiles they had on their faces at the end of each day was as big as someone that just climbed Mount Everest.  Both dad (Nate) and I were so proud of them!  Overall, they all had a blast; so much that on the way home today Elyse said, "Only 51 weeks more mom and I can go back."

Only Ian

This entire week Elyse, Caleb and Kallen are participating in VBS (vacation bible school) at the boys' preschool.  Well on Monday after dropping the kiddos off, Ian screamed and kicked when I put him back in his car seat because the other kids were not in the van with him.  Although once we got home, and he had only mom and every toy to himself he was nonstop smiles; and the last two days have been nothing different.

Love of Tractors

No matter what, whenever the kids (mostly just the boys) come across a tractor they have to stop and look at it, or if available, sit and pretend to drive it.

Working at the Car Wash

When heat indexes approach 100, and we plan on playing outside, we make the most of it.  We put the kids to work by washing the vehicles.   In the end, we had four happy kids, two clean cars and two proud parents.

Andover's Annual "Family Fun Fest" Parade

This weekend was our neighboring city's, annual "Family Fun Fest".  The event involved inflatables, food, 5K, exhibits and a parade.  We once again participated in the parade for our chiropractor, Dr. Tony and others from Essentials of Life Chiropractic.  It was sweaty and hot; but just like the previous years, we had so much fun and will be signing up again next year.

The Royalty Birthday Party

Today Kallen attended his first birthday party. He was nervous to go, so I agreed to stay with him and he did wonderful.  He was so cute and polite. He was also the only prince surrounded by adorable little princesses. Such a fun event for him and I to share.

Seven Kids, Six and Under

As many of you know, I LOVE having kids over.  I am always more than willing to babysit other friends' children when they need help.  If I'm able, I will always say yes for a few reasons, I love helping others, they keep my kids entertained, and I love each one of these children like family.  Therefore, when Elyse's friend was here from last night's sleepover and I volunteered to babysit our good friends' kids, the house was filled with seven children, six and under from 8-6.  I will be going to bed early tonight but can say it was a real quick and enjoyable day.

Special thanks to my friends for trusting me to love and take care of your precious blessings.
 The fun dance party!

Starting Her Young

Nate (dad) taught Elyse something completely enjoyable, new and grownup this weekend.  He taught her how to drive the boys around on the tractor by herself.  Even though he didn't let her actually mow or change speeds, it was still nonstop fun for her and the boys.

Dinner's Served

I hate when Nate (dad) has to work late and misses  dinner.  Although on the positive side, I get to scratch our regular dinner plans and eat fun peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on the deck.
