Star of the Week

Most schools have a "Star of the Day" where a child gets to bring in something to share.  Legacy's kindergarten classes do that as well, but they also have a "Star of the Week".  This week happened to be Caleb's and boy was he excited.  We worked together to make his poster look and say all he wanted on it.  He then was able to share it with his class and answer questions they may have had.  Throughout the week he gets special fun privledges like wearing the "Star Hat", picking out his favorite books, getting little prizes and other goodies.

Legacy does such an amazing job at making our kids feel so unique, important, special and beautiful children of God.  I know I have said it before, but I truly am so thankful and love their school!

Always Singing

I love that my kids are always singing, especially worship songs.  Caught them this weekend singing,  "Jesus is my life saver." Sadly they stopped or in this case said,  "The end" when the camera started rolling.

Winter Has Arrived

It rained, sleeted and snow flurried throughout the day yesterday.  After 7 PM all that mess turned over to snow making our backyard become a beautiful winter wonderland.  There was only about 2-3 inches but it was really wet and heavy thanks to all that rain.  The kids played for a good two hours and came in dripping wet with huge smiles.  Hope they still have those smiles in four months when I make them go play in it.

Little OCD

We can't decide if it's a little OCD, or if it's the fact that he loves to sort and organize things, but we constantly find him doing stuff like this daily.

The Girls

I don't know if they are close because they are the only girls; but they do have a special bond.  Elyse constantly takes her out, takes her on walks and plays with her.  Melts my heart.

Bonfire and Marshmallows

This past weekend Nate took the kids out to burn some excess wood.  Next thing I know they were coming in to ask to toast marshmallows.  Their cheeks are evident that they had their fair share.

Little Too Excited

On the way home from dropping the kids off at school Kallen heard on the radio that there was a slight chance for snow Friday into Saturday.  He was so excited that he ran into the house and got ready.

Napping in Style

Ian often falls asleep on the way to pick up the kiddos from school. Today I couldn't help but capture a picture, he napped in style.

Dual Sleepover

Some of our good friends were in need of a babysitter for 24 hours; so when they asked we quickly said, "Yes, of course!"  The kids were so thrilled to have their friends sleepover and hang out all day together.  It was also the boys' first sleepover, which was another bonus.  So thankful for their friendship and letting us help them and love their children.

Not Complaining

I by no means will ever complain of our weather this week.  We have and are suppose to remain in the 60's all week; therefore, we are outside every moment possible.  Is it really November?!
(Too busy to stop and take a picture for me)
 (They adore one another!)
