Elyse's Music Recital

Today we sat out in the 90 degree sun to watch Elyse and others perform their vocal or piano performances.  Our other kids were amazing and sat very nicely, but it was Elyse that was fabulous! She sang and looked beautifully.  Every time she steps on a stage she shines and continues to show us that is her gift!

Madeline Breaks Her Arm

On Tuesday we joined Michelle and Heidi at a local park in which Maddie jumped off the swing and broke her arm. Surgery was this morning and thankfully she was a champ. She did great and hopefully the healing process isn't too painful. 

Madeline Turns 6 Years Old

Today our sweet girl turned six.  So thankful to be able to celebrate her today. Right now our tall, blue eyed beauty loves playing outside, swimming, doing color by numbers, playing dolls and building Legos. She is so smart, inquisitive, and full of nonstop smiles and joy right now.

Madeline day did not go completely as planned with no party thanks to covid 19, but the day was still wonderful! Madeline was surprised by one of her best friends, Hannah for a little outside playdate.  We also went to a park, went swimming, opened presents, ate her meal of choice, pizza pasta and had ice cream cake.  Overall the day was a perfect way to celebrate Madeline turning 6!

Happy Father's Day

Today was Father's Day and we spent our day celebrating the best father I could ask for for my children.  It was such a simple and beautiful day!  We spent the day celebrating dad by giving him his homemade cards, making him lunch, swimming in the pool, watching a movie with pizza, and then playing family games.  

Happy Father's Day to dad, we are so grateful for you and love you so much!

Family Pool

Thanks to COVID-19 this year we were told that all pools and our family Edward Jones' trips were going to be canceled.  So we decided this was the year to get a pool to create some fun summer memories.  After weeks of preparation work and installation, we were finally able to jump in, and thanks to the heater, it was fabulous!  We will be spending lots of our summer in the water for sure.

Parks are finally open again, and thanks to the beautiful weather we have taken our bikes a couple times to the parks to play.

Dentist Covid Style

A dentist appointment we will never forget.  Kids were finally able to have their checkups, four months later.  However, thanks to Covid-19 masks had to be worn at all times minus the actual checkup.   Even though the appointment was not enjoyable, the outcome of not having to return to fill cavities was very enjoyable.

Puzzle Galore

 The result of one child completing a puzzle turns into this...
