Fabulous Fun Friday

Every Friday is what is known as "Fun Friday" in the Klauser home. The day is full of doing fun things for Elyse and Caleb. It involves going to the zoo, picnics in the park, sledding, going to the mall or watching a princess movie (after finishing her work). All week I have been telling Elyse that we would go to the Children's Museum. A place where she could run, play and touch everything. She has only been there one other time so it was all new again to her. The reason it was a "Fabulous Fun Friday" besides the fact that the kids did great, and were smiling the entire time, is because Nate surprised us and took the day off to join us. I had the most enjoyable "Fun Friday" I have ever had with my three favorite people in the world today!!! :)

...like watching a sister twirl, could bring on the biggest laughs :)

I am pretty sure I have said this before, I could watch these two interact with one another for hours, I love them both so much!!!

Elyse Recommends ~ The Bible

Recently I was talking with some other moms about a good bible for their children. I recommended Elyse's, "My First Bedtime Bible"; it has Old and New Testament stories, colorful pictures, scripture and prayers at the end of each right page. I often find Elyse reading hers around the house and it's a guarantee that you will find us Klausers reading it every night before bed.

Hope your child enjoys it as much as Elyse enjoys hers.

Zoo Day

Today, Elyse, Caleb and I joined Jenny and Aiden for a day at Como Zoo. Not only was the weather perfect so were the kids. We had obedient, happy and respectful children. I asked Elyse what was her favorite part at the zoo, and she said, "Seeing Simba and Nala with Aiden." :) Thanks Jenny and Aiden for a great morning, hope to do it again soon!

Play and Eat

Today, the moms and kiddos came over for a perfect playdate outside. It was rather low key, playing with toys or the swing set as well as having a nice and relaxing picnic.

Caleb is 5 Months Old

Happy 5 month birthday to my happy, easy going, cute as a button, and growing up way too fast big boy!

Girls' Night

Last night, I had the privilege to hang out with some of my favorite ladies in the world. The night reminded me of a teenage sleepover, minus the sleeping. We spent the night eating yummy food, hand waxing, toenail painting, movie watching, and of course, doing lots of laughing and talking. Overall, it was a perfect and well needed night. Thanks ladies for so much fun and thanks Nicole for hosting.

Grandpa and Grandma Klauser Visit

A week ago today, Nate's parents came up to visit. The time went by way too fast, but was a lot of fun. The weather was absolutely perfect, 60's, 70's and sun! We also hit Blaine's annual 200+ home garage sales. We found quite a few things, unfortunately, due to heat and naps we had to cut it short. We also spent a lot of time outside. So much in fact that our picture taking was very slim. Sadly, the kiddos didn't even cooperate enough to get one with just the grandparents, guess they will have to come back up sooner than originally planned now ;)

Professor Caleb

A special thanks to Nate's mom for bringing up his childhood bow ties and neckties this weekend. Post of their visit to come.

Princess Elyse's Castle

Thanks to Nate's incredible Craig's List find and some amazing friends, princess Elyse got her castle moved and put up in one night. Needless to say the money was well spent as the first day of use it had not only friends, but neighbor kids playing on it non-stop.

Great Big Sister

Elyse often helps me keep Caleb entertained when he is getting his diaper changed. Thanks to Nate being home yesterday we were able to capture a little on video. I really could sit all day and listen to her love on her brother as well as Caleb laughing and smiling back at her. Melts my heart!

Peek-A-Boo

Caught Elyse playing peek-a-boo with Caleb last week. Only bummer was the videotaping didn't start until 5 minutes into their game. Oh well, still turned out cute.
