Kallen Turns 2

Today our ornery, extroverted, intelligent, adorable and busy little guy turns 2!  In a way I feel like he has been two for a few months, but now it's official and very bittersweet.  Totally thankful for him and how he can easily put smiles on our faces.  Kallen, we love you so much and hope you have a Happy Birthday!

This past weekend we celebrated by throwing Kallen an Elmo party.  It was very low key, just us six, my mom and step-niece.  We had cupcakes, put on Elmo tattoos and opened presents.  Special thanks to those that came and those who gave Kallen something.

Planting Our Veggies

Even though snow is still on the ground and summer feels so far away, it's still that time of the year for getting vegetables planted.  Nate officially set up a little garden in the house and planted our favorite vegetables.  I don't know who enjoys watching them grow and eating them more, Nate or the kids?!?

Ian Turns 3 Months

I am really in shock right now that I am posting a 3 month birthday post for Ian already.  It's so crazy how time goes faster and faster for each child.  

Anyway, we are all in ah of our happy, easy going, unpredictable and adorable, old looking man.  Ian, we love you to pieces and hope you have a happy 3 month birthday!

Conservatory

As many know, I am not a woman who loves flowers.  I don't care to really look at them, take care of them, or even receive them.  Therefore, going to our local conservatory never seemed appealing.  However, today I thought with the sun out and warmer temps it might be fun to go somewhere new for both the kids and I.  Well thankfully it was not a disappointment.  There really was a lot to see, plus it was indoors and it enabled the kiddos to burn off energy running around.  I can't believe I am saying this, but I will definitely be taking the kiddos there again (soon).

 I guess Ian thought it was funnier to stay up to see everything too instead of taking a nap.

Special Ian Time

Every night after we put the other three to bed, I get about an hour alone with Ian.  I treasure this time as I know it will be gone soon. Last night I captured this adorable picture and thought it was definitely blog worthy.
