Tonight we attended Elyse's school's Christmas party.  We joined our friends, Adam, Jessica, Sarah and Noah for a night of cookie decorating, craft making, nativity dress up and game playing.

Advent Day 1

I want to start off and give credit for our Advent Calendar to my friend, Stephanie Foertsch.  Right away when I saw her Advent Calendar on her blog I knew it was exactly what I wanted to do with the kids this year.  Our days are not identical to hers but either way, I am so excited for the next 24 days!  Our Advent Calendar consists of 24 days of Christmas fun.  Each day we will do some Christmas or fun activity to count down our days until the birth of Christ.  I hope to post pictures daily or a few every couple of days so you two can enjoy in on our fun.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Nate's parents came up on Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving weekend with us.  It was such a special treat to have them here for over three days.  We spent our time eating lots of good food, playing, going to Adventure Park, shopping and building lasting memories.  It's just a bummer that they have to say goodbye tomorrow. 

 

Special thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Klauser for coming to spend Thanksgiving with us.  We love you both lots.
 

Ladies' Night

Last night I had the privilege to join some of the greatest women I know to celebrate Nicole's 30th birthday, as well as spend time catching up and laughing a lot.   I just hope it doesn't take us another year to do it again.

Special thanks to the husbands for watching the kiddos so we could really enjoy our night.

Stool Silliness

This is what happens when I leave my three children alone for a few minutes to go put clothes in the dryer.  I really have no idea who did it first, but if I was to guess, sadly I'd pick Kallen!

Bedtime Bliss

This view of Nate reading bible stories to the kiddos I get to see every night right before we pray, give hugs and tuck them into bed.  Absolutely perfect way to end the day!
