After 18 hours of driving, we will count today as the official day of our summer 2023 road trip. Our first stop, Gettsyburg, PA.
I personally wasn't very excited about this stop; although, after going through the museum and walking the actual battlefield, it really hit me emotionally how much impact our history has had. Which was the theme throughout this road trip! After Gettysburg, we headed south to Mount Vernon, VA to explore Washington's Plantation.
