Back Without A Souvenior
We just wanted to let you all know that we are back in Minnesota WITHOUT our baby girl. Contractions slowed down to nothing on Friday and so we took a plane home and are planning on flying out again real soon.
As for some positive things:
-we met the birth mother and family. They are great and she is one beautiful woman inside and out
-heard the heartbeat and felt the baby inside the womb
-enjoyed a little sun and ocean
-did a practice run and will be ready to go next time
Our luggage is still in California, so we are patiently awaiting His plan for us. It's been one trial after another but once she arrives all this won't matter and everything we've gone through will be worth it. Please continue to pray for the birth mom and the arrival of our baby girl asap!!!

Not the news we were hoping to hear for you, but I'm glad you're able to find some positives in a very disappointing situation. Now when your baby is (really) ready to come, you'll be pros at jetting out to meet her! And you'll be able to share the story with your daughter of how you were so excited to meet her that you flew all the way across the country before she was even born just so you wouldn't miss a moment :0)
We will keep praying. Sounds like some cool stuff, feeling the baby move is awesome, heartbeats are real cool, and the ocean is neat stuff too! Next time the best gift ever!!!
