New England Road Trip - Day 10

Today we headed to our final destination, Boston. However, before getting there, we stopped in Plymouth to see the first plantation, Mill, and the Mayflower II. Super fun and educational stop. We successfully made it to Boston, where we just spent the night exploring the city and the craziness of the World Cup in Boston. 

                 

New England Road Trip - Day 9

Today we left Newport and headed to Cape Cod. We had lunch at a super cute restaurant called Moby Dick’s. Then we drove all the way to the tip at Provincetown, where we saw the Pilgrim Monument, went to the beach to watch the waves, and climbed the sand dunes. Unfortunately, the wind was so intense that the climb was extra challenging. We ended the night with dinner at the largest Chick-fil-A we have ever been in. 

New England Road Trip - Day 8

Today, thankfully, was another no-travel day and more exploring of beautiful Newport, RI. We started the day by taking a tour of Fort Adams. We then went to the Newport Car Museum with over 100 classic and remarkably rare cars. We ended our day walking the 3.5-mile Cliff Walk, where we had mansions on one side and ocean views on another. Wish I could walk that walk every day at home. 

                       

New England Road Trip - Day 7

Today was one of, if not my favorite, days. We spent our day exploring the mansions of Newport. Most of them were owned by the Vanderbilts and were amazing. The architecture and history were beyond fascinating. We then explored the little downtown shops; the girls had some lobster, and the boys ate at the Cluck House, which they really enjoyed!
