Advent Day 16
Celebrate Caleb's Birthday
Just like all Caleb's siblings, Covid has resulted in him celebrating his birthday without a friend party. Therefore, we tried to make his 10th birthday somewhat fun. He got his Star Wars' Mandalorian theme, did activities he enjoyed, opened presents, ate his meal of choice (dad's chicken special), and ended his day eating delicious baby Yoda cupcakes. Overall, from all his smiles, I'd say turning 10 turned out to be a success.
Caleb Turns 10 Years Old
Today Caleb turns double digits, 10! It really is crazy that we have had the joy to be his parents for an entire decade. We love him so much and look forward to celebrating many more decades of Caleb.
Caleb is definitely the child that keeps us on our toes. He is very inquisitive (has to touch everything and get into everything!), independent, crafty, outdoorsy, ornery, athletic, lover of water and video games.

Advent Day 15
Celebrate Ian's Birthday
Thanks to Covid this year, parties are a no-go. Therefore, Ian's 7th birthday was very low key. He asked for a Star Wars' BB8 theme and so he got just that. We played his favorite games, opened presents, ate his meal of choice (pizza rolls), and ended his day with eating delicious birthday ice cream cake. It might have been low key, but he still said he had a fabulous birthday and loves being seven.
Ian Turns 7 Years Old
Today our littlest boy is not so little anymore as he turned 7! Ironically he got dressed this morning and I looked down and noticed his pants got smaller, and I swear his face looked older. So bittersweet! Anyway, no matter what age or size we will love him unconditionally and joyfully love celebrating him!
Ian as a seven-year-old can be summed up with the words, loving, intelligent, competitor, creative, and dependable. He still has many same loves as last year, and some new ones; they include, crafts (smelly markers), Legos, games, puzzles, riding bikes, school, and basketball!Happy 7th Birthday, Ian!
We love you so much.
