The Pink Tutu
This is what happens when I leave Elyse alone with her brother for less than a minute to go to the bathroom. He must not have been too bothered by it since he was not crying.

Verdict in...Sentenced to Life
This morning Caleb was sentenced to life as a Klauser! That's right, Caleb had his court session today; everything went great and really fast. The judge asked us if the information on our documents were accurate and if we were going to be good parents to that special boy. We lifted our right hands, gave him nothing but the truth, and promised to try everyday to be the best parents in the world to him. We have always believed and trusted God that Caleb is our son, today just provided the documentation showing that. We couldn't have had a better morning.
We want to give a special thank you to God and Caleb's birthmother for making today happen. We are forever grateful.
Another special thank you goes out to some of our best friends, Kris and Kristi Brown. Thank you for getting up early on your day off to share in our day. We love you guys.

Emergency Surgery
My tiger, Rajah cut his neck open, stuffing was coming out like crazy, and so while I was visiting Grandpa and Grandma Klauser, I made sure to page the on call veterinarian. Dr. Grandpa Klauser rushed in with his medical bag and sutured him up in record time. Rajah is still recovering but doing much better since he was ordered to rest a lot. Thank you Dr. Grandpa Klauser for taking care of my tiger, you are the best.

The Special Visitor
Like I mentioned in the previous post; while visiting Nate's parents, my best friend and maid of honor who lives 45 minutes from Keokuk stopped by to visit. Mrs. Joni (Stauffer) Bowman and her beautiful daughter, Jemma (2.5 months) came to spend the afternoon with us. Joni and I talk at least once a week, but nothing compares to talking in person. Those two hours flew by and both Nate and I were so sad to see her and Jemma leave.
Joni, I love you lots and can't wait to see you again, hopefully sooner rather than later. Thank you for coming down to see Nate, the kiddos and I.

Father's Day Weekend
This past weekend, we headed down to Keokuk to visit Nate's parents. While there we also were able to visit with a close friend (post to come). We had a wonderful time and did a lot of fun things as you can see from the pictures. Special thank you to Mike and Kathy for an amazing and memorable weekend. Love and miss you guys already.

Caleb is 6 Months Old
I can't believe it, our baby boy turns six months old today. He is half way to becoming one, where did the time go?!?!
Caleb had his six month check up yesterday and the doctor said he looked fabulous. Especially since his neck strength has improved so much, and because he is right where he is suppose to be. In the past month, Caleb has been rolling nonstop, almost completely sitting by himself, blowing raspberries like crazy, interacting with toys and people more, and even got his first tooth (haven't posted because it's too small in pictures). Overall, he is absolutely perfect.
6 Month Statistics:
Weight: 16 lbs, 8 oz (33%)
Height: 27 inches (73%)
Head circumference: 46 cm/in (99%) :)
(Sitting without any hidden support behind him, such a big boy)
