Ladies’ Night

Tonight Nana, Elyse, and I headed over to Constance Free Church for the 16+ Ladies’ Night. The night consisted of eating amazing desserts, worship, and listening to an author/speaker talk about God’s grace. Grateful to spend my night with two of my favorite people. 

He is Risen

Today we celebrated my favorite holiday, Easter. Just love this day, it’s so simple but meaningful. We had our traditional Easter morning of church, Resurrection eggs, Bible story, opening our Easter biblical gifts, and eating our Easter meal. Today is a day where I reflect so much on His love and my blessings. 

He is Risen indeed! Happy Easter

Happy Anniversary

Today we celebrated our twentieth wedding anniversary. Nana and the kids did a great job surprising us with gifts, decorations, and a delicious cake. The weekend did not go as planned thanks to a sinus infection but we were still able to get away for a little to just focus on us and what the next twenty years has in store. Beyond grateful for him and our marriage.

Legacy’s Art Show

Today Legacy had their annual art show where students display their artwork. Then judges go around and vote for a first, second, and third place for each grade. Ian earned second place for the fifth grade class for his hot air balloon golf cart. He did a great job and we were very proud.

Kallen Turns 13 Years Old

Today marked another first in our home. We officially have more teenagers than non-teenagers because Kallen turned 13 years old today.  Kallen may not look like a teenager yet since he prays daily for height, but he sure acts like a teenager often. Right now, I'd summarize him as responsible, outgoing, extroverted, compassionate, and loud. He still loves anything to do with friends, family, video games, and soccer. So grateful for him and love watching him have a desire to become more like God daily.  

Happy 13th Birthday Kallen - We love you!

Celebrating his thirteenth birthday took place last week. Kallen had a few of his closest guy friends over for a night of sports and video game playing. Today, he celebrated it at home with the meal of his choice, cake, and opening gifts.

Can Can Wonderland

Today we ventured out to a new place for the kids called Can Can Wonderland. Dad and I have been there before, but it was a fun experience for the kids. Three hours of fun arcade games and a crazy miniature golf course.

Timberwolves Game

Spring break has officially started and to kick it off we took the kids to see a Minnesota Timberwolves’ game. It was a great night. The kids had a blast, got individual posters, saw Justin Jefferson, and Kallen caught a t-shirt. When Caleb went to bed he said, “This was a really great night.”
