Today we landed in one of God's most beautiful creations: Maui, Hawaii. The decision to go to Maui was very last minute after talking with family friends who own a condo down there and not being able to make an executive decision on where we really wanted to go. Anyway, it was an amazing trip; and would go back without hesitation.

Last Day of School
Today officially ended the 2023-2024 school year. The kids were thrilled to be done, but ask them in a week, and I bet they will be ready to go back. Here's to the sun and summer fun!

MJ the Musical
Tonight Dad/Nate took me on a special date downtown to Minneapolis’ Orpheum Theatre to watch MJ the Musical.. The show was fantastic thanks to the music, talent, and dancing; I’d go see again for sure. I just love musicals!

Mother's Day
Today was Mother's Day and I surely felt loved by the kids, family, and friends. Nana joined us at church, lunch, and for most of the afternoon where we spent our time outside in the eighty-degree sun. The kiddos even picked out gifts on their own that they knew I'd appreciate which I did (even though I didn't think I would at first). They consisted of a home decor item, my favorite pens, and a water bottle that provides flavors like my go-to daily Propels. I love being these kiddos' mom and I'm grateful for them all.

Track and Field
Today was Legacy's elementary Track and Field day. The kids look forward to this day so much because they get to participate in outdoor track events, hang out with friends, and go home early. This year was just Ian and Maddie participating in it. They both did a fantastic job and we were very proud of them.

Edward Jones' Award Ceremony
Tonight we went to Edward Jones' 113 Regional celebration. The night was full of awards for advisors and their BOAs on this past year's success. Dad was acknowledged for being the first to accomplish a new transitional plan that many advisors have not even started. However, the greatest honor was watching him receive the "Client Service Excellence Award". This is the greatest honor an advisor can get because it goes to only one advisor every year and is decided by the advisor's clients. So proud of him and all his hard work!
