Dad decided about a week ago that we needed to get away and go to the Wisconsin Dells during the kids' spring break. We decided to go this year to our favorite resort, The Kalahari, as it's the one that has all the rides and water fun in one room making everyone happy to do what they love most. We arrived Tuesday, swam, and stayed up real late. Spent all day Wednesday at the waterpark, and then ended our trip today at the arcade as well as the Tommy Bartlett Exploratory that came with the waterpark tickets. Our trip went by real fast. I'm actually bummed to be home, but thankful we got away and still have some more days left of spring break.

Kallen's Basketball Season
Tonight Kallen finished up his fourth-grade basketball season as champions! The team was made up completely of Legacy boys with dad as the coach. They were undefeated all season (one game ended with a tie) and won the championship game last night with a score of 32-10. They played so well last night and it was fun watching them be so successful. Instead of trophies, they received championship rings that are honestly huge for their little fingers, but super fun. They also had both fourth-grade teachers and their principal come cheer them on.
I just love watching the kids play, and with Kallen's great defensive play and his drive, I'm excited to see him just continue to strive at the game he loves so much.

Elementary Spring Musical
Tonight the youngest three had their spring musical concert. They sang so well and looked so nice. I was a very proud mama tonight, and a little emotional as it hit me that it's Kallen's last elementary production. Overall, nothing brings me more joy than hearing my kiddos sing praise songs to their Lord in Savior.

Ian's Basketball Season
Today was the end of Ian's 2022 basketball season. His team consisted of all classmates and Dad as the head coach, so it was a lot of fun for us all. Most of the season just involved learning basic skills. Today however ended with a game on the big court. The team played a pretty equal team as the game went to six periods and still ended in a tie, 26/26. Loved watching him play and am excited to see him continue to grow in his love for the game.
