Today was another first and hopefully a last, Legacy's Virtual Track and Field Day. This day is a favorite to all in the Legacy community. I am thankful for technology but still so saddened that this is how the boys had to do it today, especially Ian as it was his first year. Anyway, they were asked to do somethings alone at home and the others on zoom. Each boy won for their grade in one event. They did, sit-ups, sock toss and bottle flipping. Kallen (48) and Ian (34) won at sit-ups and Caleb (13) took victory in bottle flipping for his grade. Great job, boys!

Madeline Graduates Preschool
Today Madeline graduated from Legacy Preschool and will begin kindergarten in the fall. She was so excited for today and the smiles on her face prove just that. Today's graduation ceremony was nothing ordinary. In fact, it was the first ceremony Legacy ever performed this way thanks to the Coronavirus. The kids got on their gowns and instead of being in the chapel, they were greeted outside with decorations and gifts. Following that all the families lined up to follow the police and LCA bus around town honking our horns and people waving. We made a stop to pose with Pounce and the firetruck. We then headed back to LCA to say goodbye to their teachers and get their certificates. It was really special for Madeline and we were all so excited for her to graduate LCA Preschool!

Hide and Seek Cornavirus Style
Tonight we joined five other family friends of ours for a game of Hide and Seek Cornavirus style. One family hides, sends a picture and we have 20 minutes to find them in a 2.5 mile radius for points. It was fun, challenging and so amazing to see friends in person again.

37th Birthday
Today I turned 37. I usually don't post much for my birthday or wasn't expecting to be in quarantine, but today was such a great birthday I had to. I felt so loved by all the cards, phone calls, texts, and gifts. Then to top it off, I had friends and their kids constantly stopping by. At one point we had 16 kids running circles around our house staying 6ft apart, ha. The kids decorated the house and behaved so well for me. Lastly, dinner was taken care of without my help at all. Looking forward to 37 if this is a glimpse of how awesome it might be.

Baby Bins
When one child asks for "baby bins", then so do all the others. Thankfully since we aren't going anywhere, ha, they had plenty of time to look.

John Deere Tractor
Dad put the battery back in the tractor today so it is a tradition that yard rides take place. New this year is it was done by Elyse and not dad.

Happy Anniversary
Today marks 15 years of marriage bliss. Today was by no means the way we would have imagined but nevertheless it was special. Thanks to the Cornavirus we had dinner at home with Chick-fila, did a scavenger hunt Elyse made for us, and spent our night reflecting on how blessed we are. So thankful for our marriage based on God, love, laughter, honesty, communication, friendship, and family. So looking forward to many more years to come. Happy Anniversary love.
