Kallen Turns 7 Years Old

Today Kallen turns 7!  He is so excited to be 7, but I want him so badly to stay small.  Everyday he continues to prove to us that he is one intelligent, humorous, determined, engineer boy who thankfully still loves his cuddles.

Currently Kallen still loves anything to do with Legos, playing with friends, school, Star Wars, board games, video games and basketball.

Happy 7th Birthday, Kallen!
Love you to the moon and back, little man.

Wisconsin Dells

We started our spring break with snow and lots of routine activities at home.  We ended our spring break with water and fun in Wisconsin Dells at the Great Wolf Lodge.  Whenever someone asks us to join them in doing something social, as long as we are free it's pretty much a guarantee that we will join them.  A week before break some of our friends, the Jackson family (Lamar, Nikki, Xandra, Keshawn, Zaeden and Meisha) asked us to go with them to the Dells.  Thanks to Dad's work flexibility we booked it and were off ten days later.  We stayed for two days and had such a fabulous time!  We had never been to the Great Wolf Lodge.  The resort is designed for younger families so the rides were dead which was the best we could ask for, up and down with no wait.  We also participated in their free crafts, cookie making, games, dances at nights and story-time.  Perfect way to end our spring break!

Globe of Peace

The kids love Star Wars and they found a book at the library that shows how to make Star Wars crafts. We happen to make the Globe of Peace. A giant ice ball filled with glow sticks that glow in the dark. They are super cold but very fun for the kids!

Spring Break?!

We have officially begun spring break and with the new 5" of snow we received overnight it sure doesn't feel much like spring. At least the sun is out and we are all enjoying a nice family fun day during our break.

Book Fair

Today the kids had their project book fair at school.  Every elementary student reads a book in the month of February and then makes a project that is all about the book.  The parents go around and ask questions and give compliments to the kids.  They all did a great job.  Elyse made a game this year, Caleb did the cereal box project, and Kallen made a tri-fold.
