This past Saturday, Dad, Elyse and I attended a MN Gopher's Women's basketball game with the rest of Elyse's teammates. It was a lot of fun for all of us. Not only was there great fellowship and laughter, but it was fun to see the girls watch how the game really is played.

Thanksgiving Party
Today I got to be a parent volunteer for Ian's class' Thanksgiving party. The kiddos ate a fun mini Thanksgiving feast, played games and did crafts.

Puzzle Warriors
Kallen and Ian have spent much of their afternoon turning our office into a puzzle room! They have done a great job and we are proud, but oh the cleanup!

Adoption Carnival
Yesterday we attended MNAPOPTt's annual "Circle of the Heart" carnival in which they celebrate families who have a heart for adoption and/or foster care. It was a completely free event that involved great food, meeting MN mascots, games with prizes, crafts, arcade games and henna tattoos. I didn't capture a lot of pictures thanks to the fun.

Elyse Plays Basketball
Today kicked off Elyse's first official game of playing basketball. So far she really enjoys playing, I think it might be due to the fact that she plays with seven of her close classmates and her dad is her assistant coach, but either way hopefully the real joy of the game and momentum continues throughout the year. Their team did win and she rocked it with one steal and even scored a basket.
Right after she scored her first basket.

Lover of Hatchimals
For the past few months Ian has been obsessed with Hatchimals! He spends his allowances on them, wants it to be his birthday theme and constantly plays with them. So when his teacher gave him a project to disguise a turkey it was no surprise he chose to disguise his as a Hatchimal colored in Legacy's colors. He did the entire thing himself besides printing a black and white Hatchimal off the computer.

Happy Halloween
This year may have been one of my favorite Halloween's ever. Not only did I love the kiddos costumes, but we did a few new things and had a lot of fun. We found out our neighborhood Chick Fil-A was giving out free kid meals if dressed up in costume. So we ate a yummy dinner, and then came home to bundle up to hit our neighbor's houses for some yummy treats with perfect temps.
