Vacation to Grand Cayman
Thanks to all Nate's hard work at Edward Jones, he earned our family a vacation to the Grand Cayman all last week. We could not have had a more beautiful time! The water was crystal clear, temperatures were perfect for swimming, food was delicious, and most importantly, the memories we created as a family will never be forgotten. We spent pretty much every moment in the water, swimming, snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, swimming with turtles, kayaking, and sailing. Below are just a few favorites off my phone.

Andover Fun Fest
Last weekend, Andover had their annual "Family Fun Fest" involving, inflatables, concessions, exhibits and a parade Saturday morning. As in previous years we walked in the parade for our good friends and chiropractor, Dr. Tony Lawther at Essential Life Chiropractic. We always enjoy this event and I personally really loved our shirts this year! :)

Cast is On
Kallen finally has his cast on! On the fourth of July we were at a friend's party and one man was letting off parachute men fireworks. All the boys were running after them. Kallen successfully captured one, but when one landed in a tree and no one else could get high enough he was determined to get the parachute man for his brothers. Well he succeeded in getting the man, but sadly slipped on a leaf and a skinny branch at the end of the tree to fall six feet breaking both radius and ulna. His first attempt at the ER relining it was unsuccessfully. They then sent us to a orthopedic surgeon. We had our appointment Monday and poor boy went under again today. The surgeon was amazing and did a fabulous job getting his arm back together without any open cuts. Praise!
Thankfully Kallen is one awesome little boy who is determined to not let his cast slow him down or ruin the rest of his summer. We got a waterproof cover so he can enjoy his next four to six weeks outside in the pool! Just praying it does stay dry!

Nana's Special Sleepover
For years my mom, Nana has asked me to do "Special Sleepovers" with the kiddos. Meaning she gets one-on-one time with just one kid at her house. Elyse has done a few, but we decided that it was time for Caleb to have his first sleepover. He was so excited and had a great time! They played lots, went to the park, built some fun crafts, and just created lasting memories. Special thanks Nana!

Kangaroo Crossing
Last Friday we joined Nana at the Minnesota Zoo. Ever since the kids received their MN Zoo membership they have been dying to go see the zoo's summer exhibit called, "Kangaroo Crossing". Dad has been calling Kallen his "Little Joey" for years and so kangaroos are dear to his heart. The exhibit didn't disappoint minus the kangaroos were hot and lazy. A Joey did cross right by them and that was by far the highlight. We also did walk the rest of the zoo, but plan on adventuring out again when it isn't so hot.

A Sad Goodbye
Today was a very hard day for the entire family! Yesterday was all fun with a family sleepover and all day play date, but today we sadly all said, "Goodbye" to our best friends. A few months ago, Aaron felt God leading him back south to move home by family. After a few months of prayer, they finally decided to obey and go. Therefore, they leave tomorrow morning and though we are happy for them, we are hurting very much inside to loose people we call, "FAMILY". We love them all, will truly miss them, but know this is not the last time we will see them!

Beanie Boo Party
Last night Kallen noticed it was one of his beloved Beanie Boo's birthday and asked if we could throw a party for all the Beanie Boos. The kiddos love these stuffed animals and I will admit with their bright colorful eyes they are super cute. So the kids helped make cupcakes, decorated, and threw them a party. The party involved dancing, party hats, cupcakes with candles and singing, "Happy Birthday". Super creative and cute!
