Grandpa and Grandma Babysit

I was gone all last week, Dad still had to work during the days so the kiddos were blessed with Grandpa and Grandma all day everyday.  We couldn't have done the week without them and were so appreciative of their time, love and effort throughout the week.  They spoiled the kiddos with nonstop fun of going to the movies, Science Museum, out to eat, and the zoo.  We just hope they had as much fun as the kiddos and want to come back and do it again sometime in the near future.

A HUGE thank you to Grandpa and Grandma for all you did.  Love you lots.

Andover Fun Fest

Yesterday, Andover had their annual "Family Fun Fest" involving, inflatables, concessions, exhibits and a parade. As in years in the past we walked in the parade for our good friends and chiropractor, Dr. Tony Lawther at Essential Life Chiropractic. The kids did great and it was the first time that all four walked it, no stroller.  Super fun day.

No Paper

Today while I was making dinner I thought Ian was nicely coloring on paper; but he informed me right before eating that we were out and used the next best thing. So glad I buy washable markers!

Happy 4th of July

For the past few years we have spent our 4th of July in the van driving home from visiting family in Michigan.  Therefore, when plans changed and we stayed home this year we were thankful that our closest friends happened to be home with no plans either.  We spent our day swimming, tie-dying red/white/blue shirts, playing with pet chickens, and eating delicious BBQ food.  It was indeed a fun filled wonderful 4th of July!

Cars 3

Today we all went to see "Cars 3" at our local theater.  I thought the movie was really cute and enjoyed myself, but I think what brought me more joy was seeing the three boys' expressions and smiles; not because of Lightning McQueen, but because it was their first time being in a movie theater.  Ian had moments where playing with the heated and reclining seats were more enjoyable than the movie, but overall it was a success.
