Kallen Turns 5

Today Kallen turned five.  I truly can't believe it's been five years since the first time we held him.  It has been a wonderful five years and we look forward to what this year has in store.  Currently, Kallen's favorite things are Transformer Rescue Bots, Paw Patrol, Baby boos, puzzles, playing outside and Grace.  He's personality consists of being intelligent, particulate, comical and affectionate.

Happy 5th Birthday, Kallen!  We love you so much.

Kallen's 5th Birthday Party
Kallen was able to have his party on his actual birthday today.  He planned his entire party; he decided he wanted a Transformer Rescue Bots theme, what friends he wanted (10, and everyone made it), games they played (bingo and find the robots) and the craft they did (made Rescue Bot masks).  The party was lots of fun and a major success.

Bowling Fun

Spring break has officially started here.  You would never guess by the look of all the white stuff that arrived yesterday but it's here and we are doing fun things.  Today we set out to the bowling alley where the kids had non-stop fun.  I smile just thinking about how much they all love to bowl.

If you were curious at all, Ian was the winner of the game, ha!

Planting Season

It's that time of the year again, Dad gets the dirt, seeds and water out to plant our garden.  The kids were eager to help him, just hope their joy on taking care of them lasts all summer.

Loyal Companion

There are many reasons why I think a family should have a dog.  Today is one such example, a true loyal companion.  Poor guy woke up with the stomach bug and has not moved from that couch, and therefore neither has Grace.  So sweet!

Boys with Guns

The kids recently received some new sunglasses. So what else better to do on this cloudy morning than wear them running around with guns shooting mom?!?

Legacy's Book Fair

Today ended Legacy's annual "I Love to Read Month" of activities.  Every elementary student read a book of their choice and made a tri-fold about the book to display for family and other classmates to see and ask them questions about it.  The kids did majority of their boards all on their own, including, picking out pictures, typing, cutting, gluing and coloring.  I know I am bias, but I think they did a fabulous job.  Very proud of them today!

Off to the Dentist

This afternoon all four kiddos had dentist appointments.  Most kids dread the dentist, ours however, LOVE it.  I've posted many posts on how amazing it is, so it's so surprise they enjoy it.  They get to watch movies, wear fun glasses, get new toothbrushes, stickers and toys.  I didn't capture any of the older three, but I quickly took a few of Ian because it was his first time.  He was very hesitant and did not want to participate, but thanks to an awesome dentist, he had a overall great appointment. He wouldn't take a picture smiling there, but was smiling ear to ear as we were leaving the parking lot.

Also, just a little brag, four kids and NO cavities! 😄
