Legacy's Book Fair

Today ended Legacy's annual "I Love to Read Month" of activities.  Every elementary student read a book of their choice and made a tri-fold about the book to display for family and other classmates to see and ask them questions about it.  The kids did majority of their boards all on their own, including, picking out pictures, typing, cutting, gluing and coloring.  I know I am bias, but I think they did a fabulous job.  Very proud of them today!

Off to the Dentist

This afternoon all four kiddos had dentist appointments.  Most kids dread the dentist, ours however, LOVE it.  I've posted many posts on how amazing it is, so it's so surprise they enjoy it.  They get to watch movies, wear fun glasses, get new toothbrushes, stickers and toys.  I didn't capture any of the older three, but I quickly took a few of Ian because it was his first time.  He was very hesitant and did not want to participate, but thanks to an awesome dentist, he had a overall great appointment. He wouldn't take a picture smiling there, but was smiling ear to ear as we were leaving the parking lot.

Also, just a little brag, four kids and NO cavities! 😄

No School Fun Day

The kids did not have school today for unknown reasons to me, but we decided to enjoy our day off and make it a "Fun Day"!  The kids asked to go to the Science Museum again and it was a perfect day to go.  Since most kids in the area did have school, it was very empty.  The kids were constantly moving either by making things or playing with all sorts of new stuff; as evident in my pictures by them never looking.  

After the museum we decided to surprise Dad at his office and he then surprised us by taking us across the street to DQ for some yummy dipped cones.  😊  Overall, we had a great day!

A Spring Teaser

I have a love hate relationships for days like today. 60 degrees in February feels amazing and we enjoy every minute outdoors; but sadly it is Minnesota and next week when it's back to normal 30s, it feels nothing but artic.

Mini Elyse

This morning Ian went to the extreme to be like his sister. He is wearing her old Dora pajamas and her new glasses, while using her lip gloss. Adorable!

Daddy-Daughter Ball

Elyse has been excited about this night for weeks.  Legacy Christian Academy had their annual "Daddy-Daughter Ball" and so she and Dad spent their night hanging out with friends and dancing the night away.  They both had a blast and I maybe bias but I believe they were the best looking couple there.
