Advent Day 19

Make and Eat Marshmallow Snowmen

Kallen's Christmas Production

Today Kallen had his preschool's Christmas Production.  Unfortunately the other kids had school and missed him but we took a few pictures and videos of our handsome boy singing some great Christmas songs.  Very proud of him today.

Advent Day 16

Celebrate Caleb's Birthday

Today was Caleb's turn to be celebrated.  Our first born son turned six, six years of watching him grow from a little boy to a young man.  He is by far the most creative, sensitive, strong-willed, and active kid I know.   He loves his family, friends, God, being outside, swimming, baseball, super heroes, climbing trees and crafts.  So excited to see what God has in store for him.  So proud of who he is becoming.  Love you buddy!
Happy 6th Birthday, Caleb
Batman Party
Caleb wanted a "Batman" theme birthday party and so that is what he got.  His party included some of his closest friends, playing party games, opening presents, and singing as well as eating birthday cupcakes.

Advent Day 15

Celebrate Ian's Birthday

Today we spent our day celebrating Ian officially becoming three, a preschooler.  I can't get over how fast it is going.  Not only are there no babies in this house, there aren't any toddlers either.  Ian has quickly become one independent, intelligent, outgoing and humorous little boy; thankfully, he still is a major Mama's boy.  He loves more than anything, his family, Grace and friends.  A few other favorites of his are Mickey Mouse, his stuffed elephant, "Ellie", Puggles (Awana), swinging outside, singing, swimming, reading books, and eating fruit snacks.  Words can't express the love I have for him and I know that will never change.
Happy 3rd Birthday, Ian

Mickey Mouse Party
Ian wanted a "Mickey Mouse" theme for his birthday.  Even though he is not old enough for a friends party yet, we still threw him a small family party.  He had decorations, he opened presents, ate his favorite meal (pizza), we sang to him, he blew out candles, and we all ate his yummy birthday cupcakes.  I asked him at bedtime if he enjoyed his birthday and he responded with, "Yes it was a GREAT day!" :)

Advent Day 14

Buy a Christmas Gift for Grace

The kids LOVED doing this activity.  They went directly to the pet section at the store and quickly picked out what they believed would be Grace's favorite thing at Christmas.  A new activity, but I foresee that it will be a repeat for many years to come.
