Eat at Chick Fil-a While Listening to Christmas Carols
Today's activity was extra fun for the kids. They got to eat dinner at one of their favorite restaurants while listening to Christmas carols sung by students at their school and played in the play-place with classmates.

Cut-out and Eat Christmas Pancakes
This activity randomly came to me and the kids loved it. We usually have pancakes or waffles on Saturday mornings so what's more fun for kids than using Christmas cookie cutters to make their pancakes look like Christmas.

Attend Elyse's Winter Dance Recital
Tonight we had the opportunity to go watch Elyse dance her three dances beautifully on stage. We were all so proud of her; especially the boys as they happily gave their pictures and boutiques to her.

Advent Day 8
Celebrate Dad's Birthday
Today we celebrated Dad (Nate). We made cards for him, bagged and watched him open the presents they picked out, baked his cake of choice (brownies), and gave him lots of love. No one we rather celebrate today than Dad. Happy birthday, love!

Advent Day 7
Shop and Donate Food to Local Food Shelf
The kids did another donation activity today, I really do love when they joyfully shop for others. I showed them a list of food items they could pick out and buy for others who do not have the ability to buy food on their own. We then drove to our local shelter and they handed it over to the friendly staff with excitement and questions. The ladies answered their questions and showed them around. They really got into this activity today, so much that they asked if they could just donate food anytime of the year, "You bet", was my reply!
