Visiting Family

This past Fourth of July weekend we headed east to visit my brother and his family.  We were there for three days but it felt like only a few hours.  We had so much fun!  We spent our time watching the kids play, went to Mooville for the petting zoo, playground and ice cream, and spent time at Aunt Kim's parents' pool swimming.  

A special thanks to Uncle Steven, Aunt Kim, Chloe and Silas for having us.  We had a blast and miss you all already.  Love you all lots.

 

Playing in the Rain

As we drove into the driveway from getting groceries it started to downpour.  The kids asked if they could go play in it.  I told them that if they got umbrellas and their boots on they could do what they wanted in the rain.  I ran the groceries into the kitchen and looked out the window to see this, the kids having so much fun and an image I hope to never forget.

Baby Swing?!

While at Caleb's baseball game Elyse wanted to swing in the baby swing. I warned her it was not a good idea but she decided to do it anyways. Well I know she regretted not listening because she got stuck, seriously stuck! I left her in there for quite sometime before both Kallen and I had to rescue her out. Ha!
