Cinderella

Ever since the moment Elyse and I left "Beauty and the Beast" last year she has been asking me when the next musical is that we can go to.  Then last month when she and her friend, Ava saw a sign for "Cinderella" they instantly asked us moms.  We couldn't say no to a fun musical and a day for us ladies to all hang out.  The musical was done really well and we all had a great time.  Elyse has already asked, "Mom, what's playing next year and can we go?!"

Maple Maze

A few weeks ago Kallen, Ian and I joined some friends at this indoor playground in Maple Grove called, Maple Maze.  To our surprise the maze was larger than the one by our house, cheaper, you can bring your own food and lots of fun.  Ever since Elyse and Caleb heard about it they have asked to go. I told them we could go on a rainy day when they didn't have school.  Therefore, when they found out it was just going to rain all day they had their shoes on before we could finish asking.   To sum up our Sunday: memorable, fun and exhausting!

Early Birthday Celebration

So these three fabulous friends of mine that I am beyond thankful for planned a ladies' night on Monday to celebrate my upcoming birthday.  The food was amazing, but nothing close to how amazing our time was.  If this is a glimpse of what year 33 looks like, it's going to be a great year.

Caleb's Spring Production

Last night Caleb's preschool class had their spring production.  It was so fun to see him and his classmates get dressed up, go on stage and preform songs they have been working on for the past few months.  Even though being on stage and acting out songs is not his thing, he did great. We were so proud of him!  

Celebrating Our Anniversary

We were blessed to spend our anniversary with just the two of us.  Nana came up and spent the day with the kiddos so we could take off early in the morning and not come home till late.  The day was wonderful and something we have not done in over seven years.  We hit up some of our favorite places, Ikea, Mall of America, Giordano's Pizza and Lake Calhoun.  But before we left, I was pressured into wearing my dress so the kiddos could see it.  Followed by Elyse trying it on :)  Overall, a perfect way to start off year eleven.

Happy Anniversary

Today Nate and I celebrate 11 years of marriage.  Every year I reflect on how thankful I am for having a marriage that is devoted to one another and more importantly, rooted in Christ.

Happy Anniversary, Nate!  I love you more than words can express.  Thank you for being such an amazing husband, father to our children and friend.  Here's to many more years of love, laughter, honesty, friendship and joy.

Love Spring

We have had temps in the 60's to high 70's for the past few days; therefore we have done nothing but played outside, gone to parks and had picnic lunches.  Love days like these!
