We were blessed to spend our anniversary with just the two of us. Nana came up and spent the day with the kiddos so we could take off early in the morning and not come home till late. The day was wonderful and something we have not done in over seven years. We hit up some of our favorite places, Ikea, Mall of America, Giordano's Pizza and Lake Calhoun. But before we left, I was pressured into wearing my dress so the kiddos could see it. Followed by Elyse trying it on :) Overall, a perfect way to start off year eleven.
Special thanks to Nana for coming up and helping to make it possible. Love you.

Happy Anniversary
Today Nate and I celebrate 11 years of marriage. Every year I reflect on how thankful I am for having a marriage that is devoted to one another and more importantly, rooted in Christ.
Happy Anniversary, Nate! I love you more than words can express. Thank you for being such an amazing husband, father to our children and friend. Here's to many more years of love, laughter, honesty, friendship and joy.

Love Spring
We have had temps in the 60's to high 70's for the past few days; therefore we have done nothing but played outside, gone to parks and had picnic lunches. Love days like these!

Soccer in the House?!?
It's a firm rule that there is no playing ball in any room besides the toy room and basement. I however made an exception today when the boys found a $.99 air, padded soccer ball that when turned on glides on the floor. I used to have one as a kid and remember playing with it so I couldn't deny them the fun. It was beyond worth it; they played with it until naps, were constantly laughing while chasing after it, and burned lots of energy.

Spring Fever
Today was in the mid 50's with wind, but compared to the temperatures we had last week it was a heatwave. So the kids wanted to do nothing more than be outside. Therefore we spent our Sunday doing typical spring activities, preparing the garden, riding bikes and going on a family walk.

Grandparent Day
Today was "Grandparent Day" at Caleb's preschool. He's been looking forward to taking Nana to preschool for weeks. They spent their morning playing, eating snacks, doing a craft and going to chapel. Both Nana and Caleb had a fun and memorable morning.
