Preschool Volunteer

Today I got the privilege to celebrate Valentine's Day at Caleb's preschool being a parent volunteer.  The day went by super fast as we spent our time playing with balloons, mailman, coloring, snack, singing, and passing out Valentine's.  Unfortunately I got so busy helping with Valentine's I forgot to take a picture of Caleb handing his out :(  I also can't get over how packed his bag was, whatever happened to a piece of paper and maybe a piece of candy stuck to it?!?   Overall, I loved the special alone time with just Caleb.

Snow Bunnies

The Twin Cities got hit with about 8 to 12 inches of snow on Tuesday and the boys constantly were asking to go play.  We finally had a free afternoon, so while Ian napped we adventured out and it did not disappoint.  The boys were loving every second of being in it.  Their favorite thing was to find spots that had so much snow thanks to the drifts that they weren't able to move.  With the forecast predicting sunny and thirties this weekend, I foreshadow a lot more playing and sledding.

Blueberry Waffles

Ian loves waffles and blueberries for breakfast! It's so bittersweet though; he eats a great big breakfast but the aftermath is a nightmare to clean up.

Rockin' Out

This was originally not planned!  I got Ian dressed, then Caleb saw his shirt and wanted to wear his guitar one too, and then Kallen quickly followed by wanting to wear his.  So after they were all dressed I couldn't help but take a picture.  They were rockin' out all day in their guitar shirts.

Thankful Thursday

Beyond thankful for these five loves of my life that bring me so much joy!

No School = Fun Day

Today was Martin Luther King Jr day so schools were off. We took advantage of it and headed south to Mall of America in which the kids were able to ride rides, play at the Children's Museum, go out to eat and hang out with some of their best friends. Talk about a perfect way to celebrate no school and -5 degrees outside.
