Celebrating Easter
Easter this year was just like every other; the day was filled with joy, love and celebrating Jesus rising from the dead for our sins. Our day consisted of our annual traditions: attending church, opening our baskets, doing resurrection eggs, sharing a meal together and after naps doing our Easter egg hunt.

He is Risen!
We hope you take sometime today to rejoice in our Lord in Savior, Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again so we could be free.
May you have a day full of joy, love and laughter.

Hosanna Pictures
While Ian was taking his nap, the other three and I spent our time discussing the events that led to Easter, including the prophesy of the Messiah riding in on a donkey. While talking the kids actively made their own pictures and shared why they put their stickers were they did. Love their creativity and hearts for Jesus.

Easter Fun
Our morning was packed full of fun Easter activities. We started off at our church where we did lots of Easter crafts, dressed up and ate yummy empty tomb snacks. After that we headed over to Caleb's preschool for some Easter games and our annual Easter egg hunt in the ball pit. Overall, our morning was full of fun, fellowship and family. Such a great way to kick off the week leading up to Easter.

License Bureau
After dropping the two older kids off at their schools, the younger two were dragged to the License Bureau with me so I could get my drivers license renewed. I was dreading this day since I got the postcard. Not because it costs money or involves a horrible picture, but because of the long lines and slow service that usually occurs. Well I was beyond grateful today as there was only one other person in there, and both Kallen and Ian were amazing! They sat in their chairs, wrote in their saftey swim book with their green flower pen, laughed and sang to one another. Now I just hope my drivers license turns out as great as the experience to get it was.
Both lefties???

Celebrating Kallen's Birthday
Last Saturday we spent our afternoon celebrating Kallen turning 3 with family. Kallen wanted a tractor party, so that's just what he got. It was very low key but perfect. Kallen got to decide how he wanted his party to go; so he obviously picked opening gifts first, :) followed by singing "Happy Birthday" and eating cupcakes. We then spent the rest of our time playing either with all his new stuff or outside. Overall, he was full of smiles the entire time!
Then yesterday on his actual birthday, he had some of his closest friends come over for some morning play, lunch and more cupcake eating.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Kallen
Three years ago today God blessed me with a gift that I swore would never be given to me, the gift of childbirth. I can remember it as if it was yesterday. Kallen Samuel was laid in my arms by his own dad and tears rolled down my face as this little boy was welcomed into our family. He is and will probably always be our ornery, spunky, chatty, helpful, intelligent and joyful boy that we love to pieces.
Happy 3rd Birthday, Kallen!
We love you to the moon and back.
