Free Cone Day

Today Dairy Queen celebrated 75 years and offered every person a FREE cone if they asked for one. Us Klausers don't usually pass up on anything free, especially ice cream.  So we headed to our local DQ, got our cones and enjoyed every bite of them after eating our dinner.   Thanks DQ!

Grandpa and Grandma Weekend Visit

Nate's parents came up last Friday to spend the weekend with us.  The time went by way too fast.  We spent our day going out to eat, playing lots outside, shopping and hanging out.  Once again Nate and I messed up and left our camera on the shelf.  At least we captured one of all six together (not the best thanks to Ian, but it's better than nothing).
Special thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Klauser for coming up and spending time with us.

A Glimpse of Spring

With predicted temps in the sixties today, it was no surprise that the kids eagerly grabbed their helmets, hopped onto their riding toys and spent their morning outside.  And I am beyond confident that they will be begging to do the same right after naps. :)  Something about no school, sun and warm temps that makes me happy all day long.

"You've Got a Friend in Me"

Today the boys decided to pull out their Buzz and Woody costumes.  I couldn't help but start singing in my head, "You've Got a Friend in Me".  I hope their relationship continues to be more than just a sibling bond; I hope it's a long lasting friendship like Buzz and Woody's.
Just for fun, the two at Halloween 2013

Fresh Snow

Besides the obvious being able to play in it.  The benefit of having fresh falling snow, Nate has to snow blow the driveway which means the boys are staying still, happy and occupied for at least fifteen minutes.

Tot Time

We recently have become YMCA members, and a major perk besides the pool is getting free admission to, "Tot Time".  Tot Time is their weekly program for children preschool and younger that involves lots of riding toys, balls, climbers and games.  It's also located very close to Caleb's preschool, so while he is there it is a perfect thing to do with Kallen and Ian.  They both have so much for there.  May not think so from the first picture of Ian below; but he is mad because I took out his paci (prevents him putting things into his mouth) and made Kallen stop pushing him around so I could capture a picture.

Time for Your Checkup

Caleb, Ian and I were nicely playing in the toy-room when I realized Kallen was no where to be found.  Instantly I got up to see where he was at (it usually is not a good thing when I don't see or hear him).  Thankfully today I found him and Doc McStuffins giving Lambie a checkup on the stairs; apparently Lambie fell down them and was hurt.  Love his creativity and imagination!
