Park Fun

I love this time of year, but sadly know that winter is just around the corner.  Therefore, when we have days like today (absolutely gorgeous) we take every opportunity to be outside and soak it up.  We headed to a local park to ride our bikes on the bike path and play on the playground.  As you can see from all the smiles, it was enjoyable for all!

Ian Turns 10 Months Old

Today marks 10 months for Mr. Ian.  I can't believe we are so close to his first year being done.  Needless to say, he is such a blessing to us.  Words can't describe how much we love him.

Happy 10 Month Birthday, Ian!
Enjoy your day little man.  We love you to the moon and back.

Grandpa and Grandma Klauser Visit

Nate's parents came up last Thursday and spent the rest of the week with us.  We had such a wonderful time!  They treated the boys to some fun at Grand Slam while Elyse was at school Friday.  We spent the rest of our time playing, going out to eat, shopping and laughing.  To prove that we had so much fun, neither Nate nor I captured any pictures of the kids with them except right before they left this morning.

Special thanks to Mike and Kathy for coming up and spoiling all of us.  Love you!

Klauser's Pumpkin Patch

Most families go to their county's pumpkin patch to pick, buy and bring home their annual pumpkins.  Thanks to farmer Nate, us Klausers just walk down to our garden where we pick our own pumpkins.  I know it's not as thrilling as picking one from a large pumpkin patch; but it still is super fun for the kids, and in my opinion, way more meaningful.

Kallen Made a GREAT Trade

So I think we are officially down to one kid sleeping with a paci, and I couldn't be more thrilled.  If you know Kallen at all, then you would know how much the boy was addicted to his paci during naps and bedtime.  I thought we would never be able to break him of it.  Although we did with using a simple trade.  We asked Kallen if he would trade his paci in for a big boy bed (same size as Elyse and Caleb).  He quickly agreed.  Low and behold we have gone three days with no tears and sleeping paci free!

Special Monday

Thanks to conferences, Elyse has had no school and it has become one special Monday for the boys.  Even though it is louder and a few more arguments have taken place; the boys are a lot happier and have lots more fun when she is home!
