Lately Kallen has been playing "daddy". He has been constantly carrying a baby, and the baby's blanket and diaper bags. I think it is so sweet how gentle he is with his baby. He is going to be such a good daddy one day!

Brotherly Love
The three kids are daily asking to hold Ian. Although hands down Caleb asks the most. He can't get enough of his littlest brother. He is so gentle with him. He will sit for what seems like hours just talking to him. Ian often returns the favor with constant smiles and coos. It really is priceless.

Wearing It Proud
While at breakfast today Kallen said he was cold. Elyse volunteered to go get him a sweatshirt from their closet. She then comes down carrying her cut-off "Hello Kitty" sweatshirt. I believe Kallen smiled so much because he knew it was Elyse's, not because it was pink with glitter. Anyway, he wore it all throughout breakfast, dropping Elyse off at school, running errands and while playing all morning. I finally got him to take it off for his nap. I think my favorite part about it is that it brought so many smiles and laughs to people while we were out. That's Kallen though, our little comedian/entertainer.

Twister
With a morning of cold and blowing snow it was an easy and bittersweet decision to once again cancel plans and stay inside. Therefore I decided to bring out the game, Twister. I changed it up a bit so Caleb could play too. All in all, it made 30 minutes go by super fast and turned out to be lots of fun.

Fun New Activity
As stated in the previous post, we decided to do a new activity for all the kiddos while my family was here, bowling. Needless to say it did not disappoint, we all had a blast! Plus it was so entertaining to see the boys carry their 6 lb. balls. And to top it all off, they each bowled a spare too. :)

Speckman Family Visit
This past weekend my brother, Steven and his family headed west to come see us and meet Ian. It was so nice to have them all here. Since we only see them twice a year it is something we take great joy in when we can see them. We spent our time playing games, watching the kids play, going to Eagle's Nest (indoor playground) and doing one other new fun activity for all the kids (post to come). Thanks to Kim, I was able to get a few pictures of the kiddos and their time here.
Special thanks to Steven, Kim, Chloe and Silas for coming to visit. We love and miss you all already!!!

Grandpa and Grandma Visit
On Friday Nate's parents drove up for a very quick trip to see the kiddos and meet Ian. We all had a wonderful time and sad to see them go already. We also only captured the two pictures below, oh well at least they turned out well.
Special thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for coming up to see us and for all the goodies. We love you lots.
