Easter Egg Hunt
Today we headed to Elyse's preschool to take part in their annual Easter Egg Hunt. We were nervous on how much fun it would be being indoors (thanks to the cold and snow), but they did not disappoint. There was a magician, music, games, face painting, prizes, inflatables and a egg hunt inside a bunch of ball pits. It was such a great way to kick off Easter week.

A Future Good Dad
While I was cleaning Kallen up from lunch, I looked over to see Caleb carrying Elyse's baby doll stuff. He then sat on the couch, pulled out the bottle and began feeding the baby. No lie, did it for at least five minutes. This is also the best picture I could capture because he did not want to move or stop feeding the baby. So sweet!
As for those of you that think having boys play with dolls is not masculine. I 100% disagree! In fact, I think it's more masculine and only foreshadows them becoming an amazing dad.

Celebrating Kallen
Last Saturday, Kallen celebrated his birthday with some of the people that love him the most, us and two sets of grandparents. The party was very low key which was perfect since sadly he was not feeling the greatest. We had a monkey theme because he was given the nickname, "Chunky Monkey" at a few months old. As you can see from the pictures, I think he had a very successful 1st birthday party. I still can't believe he is 1!!!

Happy 1st Birthday, Kallen
One year ago today, Kallen Samuel Klauser entered the world. Therefore, today, our baby boy turns 1, and I can't believe it. Happy Birthday Kallen, we love you so much! This entire year has flown by so incredibly fast. Words can't describe how bittersweet today is for me. It's always sad to see my baby become a toddler; yet it's encouraging and exciting to know what changes lie ahead. Overall, we can't thank God enough for Kallen and these past 365 days.
HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY, KALLEN!
We love you so much and always will.

Grandpa and Grandma
This past weekend, Nate's parents came up to visit and celebrate Kallen's 1st birthday (post to come). We spent most of our time preparing for the party and watching the kiddos play.
Special thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for visiting. Love you both lots and thank you for everything.

Talia
Starting Sunday we had the privilege of hosting my eleven year old (step)niece, Talia. Many people thought it would be a lot more work and chaos, but it was great. We spent our days doing normal activities and she fit right in perfectly. In fact, the kids adapted to her being here as if she always lived here. We know she will be back and we are thankful for that as we loved having her!

Marshmallow Creations
I knew once I saw a friend's daughter doing this I had to let the kiddos try it. It's so easy and fun for kids. Just use marshmallows and toothpicks to build towers, animals, people, jewelry, cars, etc. The best part about it, you can eat the creations when you are all done playing. :)
