Big Machines = Fun
A house is being built in the cul-de-sac just north of ours. The advantage of big windows is that we get the opportunity to watch construction equipment and men be put to work everyday. Caleb can not get enough of the machines. Another reason he thinks his dad is the coolest. So today, Nate took him over to watch the man work the excavator (even though it was not a CAT). The man was so kind he asked Nate if he wanted to take Caleb inside for a real close look. Needless to say, it made Caleb's day! In fact, it probably made Caleb's week.

Fun Friday
So our Fridays are known as ,"Fun Fridays". Meaning we spend our day doing what the kids would consider fun. That may include, going somewhere of their choice, doing a fun creative activity, having a play date, watching a movie or in today's case, baking, decorating and eating cupcakes! It was definitely a delicious morning.

Kallen Turns 11 Months
A tear is slowly running down my cheek as I type, Kallen turns eleven months today. As previously posted, he grew what felt like six months last month alone, so I am excited to see what month eleven has in store for him. Overall, we are overjoyed to celebrate Kallen being eleven months old today.

Mr. Princess
This is what happens when you have an older sister and your mom is upstairs for 2 minutes changing your younger brother's diaper.
She's so proud of herself ;)

Valentine's Social
As you can see from the picture below, our small group at church isn't really small, but sure is awesome and composed of some really amazing people that we consider family. Last night at group we decided to turn our discussion time into a night of eating, fellowship and the kids exchanging Valentine treats. The night was a big success and a great way to kick off Valentine's week. (Elyse has parties at Awana and school this week too.)

Kallen's Plan
It has been evident for the past two weeks that Kallen's plan on life is very different than mine. He has decided that he prefers not being swaddled at night (I am totally okay with), eating from a bottle or food over nursing, teething four new teeth at one time, and as shown below, walking everywhere instead of crawling. He uses a walker to get around as well as help him play with toys that are apparently better than his. He is only 10 months old but acts like a 1 year old already. Sometimes I wish I could just freeze time.
