Klauser Family Visit

The past four days, we have had the opportunity and privilege to host Nate's family from New Mexico and Iowa. We had an amazing time and did a ton of fun things. The pictures below illustrate just a few of the many things we did.

The kids: Caleb (3 months), Elyse (2), Liam (4) and Greta (19 months)

Grandpa & Grandma with the kiddos on the carousal at MOA

Liam and Elyse rode many rides, them on the semi-truck kiddy ride

Liam and Elyse on the train ride. Look at the attitude on Elyse's face, that's because the picture was taken right after the staff member announced "Please keep head and hands inside the ride at all times" (she was talking to Elyse).

Shawn & Nate took Elyse & Liam to the fire station, they had a blast

Swimming in the hotel pool, everyone had a great time and enjoyed the water, even Caleb had his first swim :)

A special thank you to Shawn, Amelia, Liam, Greta, Mike and Kathy for coming to visit us. We LOVED having you all here and spending time together. We look forward to seeing you all again. We love and miss you already.

Caleb is 3 Months Old

Today, Caleb turns 1/4 of a year, 3 months already. I thought Elyse's infancy flew by, but I feel that Caleb's is going even faster. He is growing up to be one handsome little boy. He is constantly smiling and cooing. Probably the happiest baby I have ever seen. Loves music, toys, his play mat, Elyse, being swaddled, and putting his hands together. Drooling has become a non-stop occurrence too, either early teether or constant bib wearer. All in all, we love him so much and feel so blessed to have him in our lives. We treasure every moment and everyday.

Sleeping Beauty

As I posted a few weeks back, Elyse LOVES the Disney Princesses right now. She knows all characters good and bad, mostly though books. She only wants to buy things that have princesses on them. Well my mom bought her these Sleeping Beauty action figures and they are all she plays with. I love watching her play, dance and have them sing to each other. No surprise what Elyse wants her 3rd birthday in September to be themed around. :)

Cutest Hat Ever

So today at church, a good friend of ours named, Angie, who I have talked about many times through village127, their adoption story of Tate and because she made Elyse her adorable pink hat last year surprised her today with the cutest hat I have ever seen. Elyse put it on and instantly had to go check herself out in the mirror. Then at home I captured some pictures of her in it since she did not want to take it off.
A special thank you to Angie, it's perfect and both her and I love it!!!

Below is a picture of Caleb in his Bumbo seat. He has been sitting in it for a few weeks, but as you can see still weak on his right side (head tilt). He'll get there soon, we know he will.

Disney On Ice~ Princess Wishes

Late afternoon yesterday Nate and I decided to go ahead and purchase tickets to take Elyse to Disney's On Ice ~ Princess Wishes. The reason is because she currently is obsessed with the princesses. She knows them all and every plot line just through a few movies she's seen but mostly because of all the books she has been reading. It's all we read and she is beginning to read them to us word for word. Anyway, we are so glad we went because she loved it and did great. Her eyes were so big the entire time and she just kept laughing and screaming of excitement every time a new princess or character she likes was on the ice. It was even fun to see her sing along with the songs (thanks to the princess CD we have that plays in the van 24/7 too). Overall, it was a lot of fun and a great family memory.

A Whole Lot of Therapy

Currently, both Elyse and Caleb are attending physical therapy once a week. Elyse goes because she walks on her tiptoes instead of her heals. As I have mentioned before, Caleb goes for torticollis, strengthening of his neck muscles. I did not capture any pictures of Caleb during his session because he isn't a fan. It involves a lot of work for him and a lot of tummy time. Plus I have to be holding him or helping so it wasn't doable today. Elyse on the other hand, loves therapy. Although as you can see from the pictures, what kid wouldn't, it's like an indoor playground? I am very hopeful that both will not be going more than a year, but for now, it consumes our Thursdays :)

Extra Prayer

We are in need of extra prayer tonight as Caleb's birth mother may make her decision by tomorrow. Please also pray for her to have wisdom, confidence and strength in making her decision.

We are holding onto His faithfulness.
