So Excited

Elyse has found a new sound, a high pitch squeal. We believe it's the sound she's making to let us know she is getting so close to laughing. She makes it when she's really excited or playful. We were able to catch it on video, hope you enjoy!

Wonderful Monday

I'm not a fan of Mondays, but yesterday had to be one of my favorite Mondays every! Elyse and I spent the day celebrating how big she's gotten, as well as making a shirt, baking a cake and dinner for Nate. Then when Nate got home we were able to celebrate his big day. It was a relaxing and very enjoyable evening. Overall, I think his birthday was a big success! What Elyse is thinking: Wow dad, you turned 29, that's old :)

Happy Birthday to My Two Loves

So I am so excited for today! The reason is because my two loves or favorite people in the world are both celebrating their birthdays! Nate is turning 29 today and I can't get over it. I love him so much and every year I just keep falling in love with him more. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and father to Elyse. Which brings me to my other favorite person, Elyse. See, Elyse turns 3 months today. She is becoming such a beautiful, smart and active little girl. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATE AND ELYSE!!! I love you!

We're Going to Court

Yep, that's right, Nate, Elyse and I are sentenced to court. It's not a bad thing, actually it's awesome! We got an adoption court date set and we couldn't be more thrilled. Elyse will forever be ours and get her own birth certificate and social security number. The date is set for December 16th at 9 A.M. Please pray that everything goes smoothly and successfully. So Elyse had the opportunity to hang out with my side of the family this past weekend. She meet her Uncle Steven and Aunt Kim who are from Michigan for the first time. They stayed from Wed-Sun. Plus even Grams slept over to spend more time with everyone. It had to be one of our greatest weekends! We had a blast and Elyse just loved spending time with them. She was talking and smiling so much. Below are just a few and I say few because Kim took over 250 pictures of all of us or them with Elyse. We just hope to see them again real soon. We love you guys. Elyse really loves her Uncle Steven if you can't tell. By the end of the weekend she was not only acting like him, but dressing too. Just some random family pictures

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what one is thankful for. Every year Nate and I have so much to be thankful for, but this year has to top them all. That's because we are thanking God for His blessing of our beautiful, little girl. May God bless you during this holiday. Therefore, we just wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. So Elyse loves when Nate comes home. She loves to play with him. It's not only fun for her, but for me. I love seeing them together. Right now she tends to be a mommy's girl, but I know it won't last too much longer!
